Every year around Christmas, our Arabic Congregation invites Arabic-speaking neighbors to share the joy of Christmas and the true meaning of the gospel. Afterwards, we always have an unforgettable fellowship over delicious Arabic food, which the members prepare. What a joyous occasion! Pastor Amgad’s love for the people is on full display.
Isa Al Masih, the Word of God
This message explores the divine nature of Jesus by identifying Him as the eternal Word of God who existed before creation. Using the analogy of the sun and its light, the author argues that the Word is the inseparable expression of God’s essence, and that it eventually becomes human through a miraculous virgin birth. This physical manifestation enabled the Messiah to serve as a sinless sacrifice, fulfilling ancient prophecies and providing atonement for human sin. While Jesus performed wonders and claimed oneness with the Father, the text emphasizes that He consistently redirected all glory and honor back to God. Ultimately, the author concludes that accepting Jesus as the living Word is the only way for humanity to truly comprehend and reach the Eternal Creator.
